Anna Grigorievna is retiring as a Ice dancer. She was born in Moscow on March 1 1980, to Russian economics professor Tatyana Dimitrievna, and her family of Gregory T., the director of a fur company. In childhood she spent six months before being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. The athlete became famous due to his skating career alongside Denis Samokhin, a compatriot. In 1993, they were ranked 8th at the Junior World Championship, and in 1994 they finished 7th. Her first partnership was in 1994 with Maxim Kachanov. Together, they placed fifth at the Goodwill Games 1994. They both had success with their partnership as they each won the Finlandia Trophy and participated in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating.
